I attended a memorial ceremony yesterday for Alan Ormerod Moffet, an RAF pilot, whose plane crashed at the very end of WW2.
On the 70th anniversary of his death, Blaby, the village with the Airfield in which the crash took place, honoured Alan with a Memorial Seat.
