      LAND TRANSACTIONS OF GEORGE MOFFETT, SON OF GEORGE & ELIZABETH MORPHET
      DEED J.S. vol. 28 p.90
      November 6, 1754, between Henry Eades of Kent Co. Md. carpenter of one part, and George Moffett of aforesaid province, farmer of the other part. a Henry Eades for the sum of 100 pounds current money of said province, in the hand paid by the said George Moffett, in receipt whereof the said Henry Eades doth hereby acknowledge, that granted, bargained, sold released, and confirmed and by those present doth fully, freely, absolutely, grant, bargain, unto George Moffett, his heirs and assigns forever, a parcel of land, being part of a tract of land called "Addition" in Kent Co. Md. on the north side of Chester River, beginning at the East end of the Southeast 2 degrees East line of the Aforesaid tract of land called Addition, and running thence, North- east 120 perches, then Southeast 122 perches, then west 20 degrees, North 130 perches, then with a straight line to the beginning containing and laid out for 90 acres of land.

      DEED RICHARD NORRIS TO GEORGE MOFFETT J.S. 27 p.162
      Between Richard Norris, planter and George Moffett, planter of the other part. That Richard Norris for the sum of 150 pounds money, to George Moffett, that parcel of land being part of a tract of land called "Rumford". Beginning at a bounded Oak standing in the fork of a branch called Bear Branch, and at the end of the West Northwest line of a parcel of land formally taken out buy James Bruard late of said county, "Bruards Reserve", and running from the said Oak north 112 perches, then West Southwest 128 perches, then Southeast 26 perches, to the corner of Wm Smythers part of the said tract of land called "Rumford" then continuing with the said land of planters, Southeast 87 perches, then Northeast 90 perches, then with a straight line to the first bounded Oak containing 70 acres.

      DEED D.D. 1 p. 396 GEORGE NORRIS TO GEORGE MOFFETT April 19, 1763
      George Norris, planter and son of Daniel Norris, 170 acres of land, "Brewers Reserve", one half of which was sold to Richard Moffett about March 12 1759. Then George Moffett received the other part of "Brewers Reserve" for 27 pounds.
      (This joined "Comowhitten") George Norris, George Moffett Deeds on this page were to settle boundary. Wm Woodall and George Moffett took this way in which to settle boundary rather than go to court for settlement.

      William Woodall to George Moffett for the sum of 15 pounds to settle boundary line between Smythers Addition part of Addition and Rumford Resurveyed land belonging to George Moffett.

      DEED E.F.6, p.257 WILLIAM WOODALL TO GEORGE MOFFETT March 6, 1784 between Wm. Woodall of Kent Co. Md., gentleman of the first part and George Moffett, gentleman of the other part. Wm Woodall for the sum of 647 pounds, 12 shillings, 6 pence. First part of tracts of land one called Vienna and the other Smythers Addition. Likewise a piece of land being part of Palmers Hazard being a part of tract of land called Hazard.
