      Son of James Jackson Spear, Private Spear was born Aug 15, 1841 and died Sept
      5, 1916. His wife Lucy Hurtt Spear was born Aug 8, 1858 and died Sept 25, 1941. They are both buried in Millington Cemetery. Spear had inherited the "Greenwood Farm" from his father. He was the brother of James Jackson Spear.
      Corporal James Jackson Spear, C.S.A. Service dates unknown: Company B, 1st Maryland Cavalry. Son of James Jackson Spear, brother of Edwin W. Spear, Corp. Spear inherited the "Queen Anne Farm" from his father. All three names are on the Civil War monument in Chestertown Park. Mr. Edwin W.Spear owned the Old Mill in Millington from 1892 to 1905. He sold it after the fire that destroy most of Millington, also he had added on to the front of the mill and some new elevators.

To his daughter Georginia Eaton Farm 234 acres. Mary Elizabeth his insane daughter is mentioned. Also Elizabeth his wife.
