    • "RAMSEY-MORFITT: Mr. and Mrs. Henry E. Ramsey now announce the marriage of their daughter, Mary, to Mr. Orlynn O. Morfitt. The double ring ceremony was performed at Luverne, Minn. on Tuesday February 27, 1940. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry E. Ramsey of near Hartley. She is a graduate of the Hartley High school with the class of 1936 and since has attended Morningside College at Sioux City. The American Institute of Business in Des Moines and the Nettleton Commercial Collegein Sioux Falls, S.D. Mrs. Morfitt has been employed in the Soil Conservation office at Sioux Falls. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Morfitt of Dale Township and was graduated from Archer High school in 1937. He attended the N.B.T. school in Sioux City and recently completed a business course at the Nettleton Commercial College in Sioux Falls, where he was employed with the Standard Oil Co. Mr. and Mrs. Morfitt are at home for the present with the bride's parents south of Hartley. The Times extends congratulations." [1]
