    Obituary Raleigh Julia Moffatt Peterman, 72, died Sunday morning, July 15, 2007, of NonHodgkin's Lymphoma.


    Julia was born April 14, 1935, in Palo Alto, California, to the late Jean Jamison Moffatt and Philip Julian Moffatt. She attended Stanford University, also in Palo Alto, California.


    She is survived by her husband, John Walter Peterman of Raleigh, NC; daughters, Catherine Mason of Wilmington, NC, and Elizabeth Peterman of Atlanta, GA; son, John Peterman of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Anne Moffatt Conway of Sacramento, CA; brother, William Francis Moffatt of Santa Maria, CA, four grandchildren, William Phelps Mason and John Archer Mason, both of Wilmington, NC, and Lucas Moffatt Peterman and Jack Hajny Peterman, both of Minneapolis, MN.


    Church services will be held at The Catholic Community of Saint Francis Of Assisi, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh, NC 27613, on Thursday, July 19, 2007. Reception of friends and family at 4:00pm, funeral service at 5:00pm.
