Warren R. Moffatt, age 84, of Carver, died on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. He was the husband of Fay A. (Holmgren) Moffatt; they had been married for 60 years. He was born in Boston, son of the late Charles Oulton and Christine (Gordon) Moffatt. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Randolph, during the Korean War. He retired after 45 years as a mechanic for Ford Motor Company. He was an avid bowler, and enjoyed playing golf. The presence of his family was the most important to him. Survivors include his wife, Fay; two sons, Warren Moffatt Jr. and his fianc Tracie Devine, of Lakeville, and Kevin and his wife Hope Moffatt, of Middleboro; three daughters, Linda Williams, of Wareham, Karen and her husband Joe Veiga, of East Bridgewater, Ruth Moffatt, of Howland, ME; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers, a sister, and a grandson. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro. Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 21, in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
