    • Jeanette was the daughter of Charlie Lee Balch, he was born Sept 29, 1879 and died Oct 28, 1962 and is buried in Harmony Cemetery. He was the first son of John Thomas and Louisa E. Pearson Balch. John was born Sept 1854 and died February 9, 1933. Charlie was a land owner, farmer, cattleman, saw mill owner and owned and operated a gin. He lived near Walnut where he had moved to from Falkner in 1918. Her Great Grandfather was the Reverend Thomas Washington Balch, an ordained Presbyterian minister who was born in 1833 in Bedford County, Tennessee and died February 14, 1892 and is buried in Antioch Cemetery. Thomas's father Samuel P. Balch was also a Presbyterian minister. Jeanette and Robert lived for many years on Highway 4 just west of Walnut, Mississippi.
