    • Davidson's Sisters Reunion From Lily Munro's clippings
An interesting event tool place at Springbank when the five surviving Davidson sisters with their children and grandchildren met at a family luncheon. They are the daughters of the late Hugh Creighton and Isobel Davidson of East Nissouri; Mrs Agnes Oliver of West Lorne, Mrs G. M. Munroe of West Zorra, Mrs Frank Moffat of Ingersoll, Mrs L. H. Ireland of Saskatoon, Sask and Mrs W. J. Michell of Parkhill, On
Mrs W L Sutherland of London and Miss Mabel Munroe of Embro were the hostesses. Luncheon was served on the cenre lawn at 1 o'clock after which a pleasant afternoon was spent. The children enjoyed seeing the animals; riding on the minature train, the merry-go-round etc; while the older ones visited together.
At 5 o'clock all sat down to a dainty and delicious tea. When tea was over Rev. W E James of West Lorne spoke of the enjoyable time spent and suggested that it be decided to meet again on the same date next year. A vote of thanks was tendered the hostesses and little James Elliott of Woodstock danced a fairy dance making a happy close to a perfect day. The party numbering nearly forty then left for their several homes.
Guests were there from Saskatoon, Sask; Chicago, Ill; New York City; Pontiac, MI; West Lorne, ON; Parkhill; Ingersoll; London; Woodstock and Embro.

Death of Mrs George A. Munroe
On Friday evening Jan 20 there passed away on of West Zorras noted women Mary Davidson, beloved wife of George A. Munroe. Mrs Munroe was in the best of health attending morning service in the church she loved so well that evening she was stricken with paralysis and lingered until Friday evening. Mrs Munroe was born in East Nissouri on July 12th 1849 the daughter of Hugh Davidson and Isabel Cowan. As a young girl she taught School in the Schools surrounding her home and in June 1872 married George they taking up their home on Lot 9 Con 3 West Zorra where amidst beautiful surroundings she lived ever since. She was a life long member of Ebenezer Church taking an active part in all the branches of its work never failing never tiring in doing her part when called upon. A source of great strength and encouragement to her minister and congregation. A Christian true helpmate and loving mother, a kind neighbour one who cheerfully looked forward of the call at any moment, one whose passing will leave a blank never to be filled. Thus in a few lines is the life of Mrs Munroe a truly great and good woman.
Two brothers and four sisters survive John Davidson of Gravenhurst, Andrew Davidson of Vancouver, James Davidson of Delevan Wis who predeceased her by two months, Mrs J Oliver of West Lorne, Mrs F. Moffat of Ingersoll Mrs W. J. Mitchell of Parkhill, Mrs T. H. Ireland of Kalowna, BC. She leaves her husband George Munro her daughter Mabel and son Crandall and Mrs Innes Elliot, Woodstock [1]
