      Death of Mrs Andrew Amos
      Following a lingering illness the death took place yesterday afternoon of a highly esteemed resident of Oxford Count in the person of Isabell Davidson wife of Andrew Amos Lot 11 Con 1 East Oxford County. Deceased was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Hugh Davidson and was born on the 11th Line of East Nissouri. She was sixty- three years of age and during her lifetime took an active and intelligent interest in the affairs of the community where she was lived by a wide circle of friends. She was of Scotch descent and was a valued member of the Chalmers Church of this city. No family survives but there are five sisters and three brothers Mrs George A. Munro, Embro; Mrs John Oliver, Palmerston; Mrs Frank Moffat Ingersoll: Mrs T. H. Ireland of Saskatoon and Mrs John Mitchell of Parkhill ( the latter two have been at the bedside of their sister during the last few weeks) John Davidson, Gravenhurst, James Davidson of Delvin Washington, and Andrew Davidson of Vancouver. Interment in the Presbyterian Church, Woodstock. [1]
