    Notes
    • MUNROE-MURRAY--On Thursday evening, January 21st, at Scotia Farm, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Columbus Ross, there was a pretty wedding, it being the marriage of their sister, Jessie Anna Murray, to Angus George Crandall Munroe. The spacious drawing room was decorated with firs and white satin bows, a pretty canopy being arranged in the bay window for the bridal party. Miss Jessie G. Ross played the wedding march. The bride was given away by her brother, Dr. Gilbert D. Murray, of Seranton, Penn., and was unattended. She wore white voile over white taffeta with just a single rose in her hair and carried a sheaf of white roses. The room dimly lighted with white candles and the soft music which continued throughout made the ceremony so sweet and sacred that it will long be remembered by the friends who were there. Dinner was served after congratulations were received. The bride's table in pure white with trailings of green and the guest table decorated with red carnations were very effective. There was neither rice nor shoes, just rose leaves, amidst a shower of which Mr. and Mrs. Munroe drove away to the sound of the sleigh bells into the storm and the night to the old family homestead on the second concession of West Zorra [township] --Embro Courier
