    wounded in battle at
    Knoxville,
    Tenn. Nov 13th and died
    Nov 20th, 1863
    Nobly he fell whilst fighting for liberty.

  • Notes 
    • Enlisted in Co C, 3rd SC Infantry at Frog Level (now Prosperity), SC 14 Apr 1861. Was promoted to Lt. 1862. Was wounded at Knoxville, TN 18 Nov 1863 and died at home. He is buried in the Cannon’s Creek Cemetary, Newberry, SC. He is one of three brothers killed in the war. [Source 1214] [1]
