      An on-line architectural tour of Forest-Southview Historical District of Hammond indiana shows that Louis Hess, architect, designed the house of his father-in-law Dr, Francis H Fox“Hess & Greenwood, once a Hammond architectural design firm, drew up the plans for the Dr. Francis Fox home at 6518 Forest Avenue.... The Hess part of the firm's name comes from Louis Hess, grandson of Joseph Hess, the founder of Hessville.” The tour further identifies the house: “6518 Forest Avenue - ‘Dr. Francis Fox Home’ - Colonial Revival circa 1940 Hess & Greenwood, architect.”
