  From his father William’s will: Item eighth, I give to my son Willis, one man horse, one cow and calf, and one yearland, together with one-third part of my out hogs, and one-fourth part of the crop of grain now growing and to plant this present year, and the use of such horses and farming utensils as are necessary for the cultivation of the same, and one bed and bedding.
