  • Notes
    • Died as the result of childbirth which verifies Helen’s Uncle James’ story of her dying in childbirth. According to him, the baby boy was adopted by some friends of Thomasina’s and nothing more is known of him. ScotlandsPeople.org shows one baby boy with the last name of Anderson (Thomasina was single) born in New Cumnock in 1919, but no image is available. His name was Samuel Dunlop Anderson. When I searched that name on Ancestry, the second entry is a Samuel Dunlop Anderson, born 10 Feb 1919 (no place indicated), died Feb 1999 in Mansfield Reg District, England (from the England & Wales, Death Index: 1984-2005).
