Text | You have a James Thomas MILNER and Annie Lee COUNTS in your file. James Thomas is T.W.'s brother, rather than his father. Their father was William M. MILNER (b. 22 Dec 1842 Georgia ~ d. 23 Jun 1912 Tallapoosa County, Alabama). Their mother was Rosa Ann UNKNOWN (b. 9 Dec 1944 Alabama ~ d. 9 Feb 1908 Tallapoosa County, Alabama). In the 1880 census T. W. MILNER was enumerated as Tuigs MILNER age 8, born Alabama. He is buried next to his wife as Twig W. MILNER. I think he was probably, really, Twiggs W. MILNER, and probably named after Twiggs County, Georgia, but I have NO proof of that. Larkin Chilton COUNTS and Alcy Jane RAY were the parents of your James Thomas MILNER's wife, Annie Lee COUNTS. ======== The following are some of the burials at the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ Cemetery on Bay Pine Road, southwestern Jackson's Gap, Tallapoosa County, Alabama (from an online transcription): Twig W. Milner Jan. 30, 1872 Feb. 4, 1940 Eliza H. Milner June 25, 1872 April 24, 1953 Very Close to his parents, Rosa Ann Milner Dec. 9, 1844 Feb. 9, 1908 Wife of W. M. Milner W. M.
