  Obituary	Lena Williams Dies in Denver City Hospital Mrs. Lena Moffatt Williams, 84 years of age, and a resident of the Lovington area since 1912, residing at 403 West Avenue A, died in Denver City Texas Hospital Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Williams had been confined to the hospital for the past week. She had been a resident of the Chapparal Nursing Lodge for the past 2 1/2 months. Mrs. Williams was born July 28, 1891 in Coleman County Texas, the daughter of John and Fannie Allen Moffatt, She was united in marriage in Lovington to Tom Williams in 1931. Mr. Williams preceded her in death in 1956. Mrs. Williams is survived by one son, Leonard C. Williams of Houston, Texas, one brother, Nat Moffatt, Lamesa Texas, and two grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Smith-Rogers Chapel and burial will follow in the Moffatt Family plot in Lovington Cemetery.  [2]
