• Notes

  Gary Morfitt has name as "Chaney Warren Moffitt", birthdate 5 Jun 1825. Birthplce also given as Genessee Co, NY. There is a conflict in Chauncy's death date in that one piece of data says he died in 1874 near Fairfield, Tx and another says he died in 1868, probably Illinois. He was a physician went to Illinois about 1845, married and lived at Taylorville. He went to Texas in 1823 and returned ti Illinois in 1865. He and his wife lived at Temple and Moffitt, Texas.
