  [Adapted by Alaric Faulkner from reminiscences of Lizzie Tait Gallaher, Notes of Stella Fox Beam] Adam and Elizabeth’s daughter Marian did a lot of fancywork. She had one son, Adam Johnson. She bore three babies that died named Sofia. The fourth one lived, so she was named Charlotte. Charlotte was the handsomest one in the family and lived with her mother. She lived to become an old maid.
