    Born April 16, 1908, in Gansville, he died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at his home in Dodson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Annie Moffett; five brothers, James Oliver, William Ashby, Dewey Eligh, Hubard Neander and Martin Winston Jr.; three sisters, Ollie Josephine Kitchingham, Annie Mae Culpepper and Bessie Catherine Ford; first wife, Cora Irene Frazier; infant son

    Donald Maurice; and second wife, Mildred Verdue Copeland Spigener. Survivors include a daughter, Imogene Marie Whitehead and her husband Preston Eugene Whitehead of Baton Rouge: two grandchildren, Rhonda Marie Bowers of Boston, Ind., and Ronald Eugene Whitehead of Midwest City, Okla.; and two great-grandchildren. Victoria Marie Clark of Lewisville, Texas, and Rachel Ann Clark of Kokomo, Ind. He retired from the state Highway Department in 1973. Brother Moffett was called to the ministry and ordained in 1957 Throughout his ministry he served as pastor at several churches in the area, including Siloam Baptist, where he was a member at the time of his death. Friends may visit with the family at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield on Thursday, Nov. 3, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service at Siloam Baptist Church in Gansville on Friday at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Charles Hammons and the Rev. James Moffett. Interment in Gansville Cemetery.  [3
