  Alice and W. D. Mackey were married for many years and finished raising his children after their marriage. They also raised Dorothy Kidwell, whose parents died in the flu epedemic of 1918. Many people died during that time. Dorothy was the daughter of Alma Kilgore and B. C. Kidwell. Dorothy later married C. M. Deal. The relation to Alice and Alma Kilgore is that Alma was the sister of Amelia Kilgore Moffatt. Amelia was Alice's sister-in-law. [3]
