Sours, 79. of Springfield died at 6:09 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Medical Center. She was born Sept. 2, 1912, in Kirksville, Mo., the daughter of Harrison and Elizabeth Moffet Parrish. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Sours was a member of Bissell United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Carl Sr.; two sons, Carl Jr. of Santa Maria, Calif., and Charles of Springfield; one daughter, Frances Barrow of Springfield; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rama Nighswonger of Joplin, Mo., and Irene Mushoon of Springfield. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home, the Rev. Doris Bell officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. [1]
