He served for several years as roadmaster of the C.P. & L. and later when the road was absorbed by the C. & I. M., continued as roadmaster for the new company. He was a member of the Chandlerville Masonic lodge and the Ansar Shrine of Springfield. Decedent is survived by his wife, Ella; two daughters, Mrs. Grace Murphy and Mrs. Myrtle Mellen, both of Chandlerville; two sons, Roy of Chandlerville and Harry, residing in Utah. Funeral services in charge of the Niederer funeral service of Havana will be held at Chandlerville Christian church at 2 o'colck Sunday afternoon. Matthew Bollen and Rev. G. E. Baldridge will officiate. Chandlerville Masons and a Springfield Shrine escort will have charge of services in Chandlerville cemetery. REFERENCE: Judy Norris---540 E.
