RUSHVILLE---Bruce Sprinkle, 57, of Rushville died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
He was born Aug. 29, 1748, in Asheville, N.C., the son of Glen and Hazel Lunsford Sprinkle. He married Shelia Bright in 2005 in Iowa City, Iowa.
Mr. Sprinkle was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a farmer and worked in the warehouse for DOT Foods in Mount Sterling.
Survivors: wife, Shelia; son, Troy (wife, Renita) Sprinkle of Mount Auburn; two daughters, Glenna and Katrina Sprinkle, both of Springfield; two stepsons, Timothy (wife, Heather) and James Bright, both of Rushville; two stepdaughters, Paula (husband, Todd) Eifert of Lakewood, Wash., and Jessica (husband, Jerry) Jegtvig of Puyallup, Wash.; two grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; two brothers, Keith Sprinkle (companion, Carol Taylor) and Hubert (wife, Vickie) Sprinkle, both of Rushville; sister, Barbara (husband, Jack) Moore of Candler, N.C.; and several aunts and uncles.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. today, Keokuk (Iowa) National Cemetery, Chaplin Col. Timon Davison officiating.
Wood Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
