      Final Rites Held Wed. Nov. 26 For Lee Norris 84
      Lee Norris, 84, passed away Monday in Passavant hospital, Jacksonville, where he had been a patient only a short time.
      He was born January 13, 1874 in Schuyler county, Illinois, the son of Robert Henry and Nancy Fife Norris, and the last of 12 children. He lived most of his life in Virginia and is survived by one daughter, Lily Allport of Crystal Lake.
      Funeral services were held at the Massie funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Ottis Meadows officiating. Pallbearers were Garland Norris, Dallis Norris, Robert Middleton, William Petefish, George Rexroat and Jesse Sherren. George McDonald sang several selections accompained by Mrs. Otto Dour at the organ.
      Burial was in Walnut Ridge cemetery. [1]
