Janet was working as a domestic in the Magowan household. The couple married in 1868. Alexander Walker is the husband of Jeanie Moffat, Elizabeth's sister; Jane Hunter is possibly her cousin, daughter of Robert Hunter and Catherine Skelly. [1]
