  Adopted at a young age. Leighton is her adopted name. Birth information is contained in an olde family bible. Gammie’s birth name was Hazel Campbell. Gammie’s birth mother was named Elizabeth Campbell. Gammie was born at 206 West Brookline Street, Boston as Hazel Campbell. Dozens of children were born at this address - mostly without fathers listed.
