- Died in a collision of 2 helicopters filming an episode of the French reality TV show “Dropped”. All ten people on board the two aircraft were killed in the incident, including French athletes Florence Arthaud, Camille Muffat and Alexis Vastine.[7] The others killed were the two Argentinian pilots, and five French nationals who were members of the production team, Adventure Line Productions.

She won Gold in the 400m freestyle, Silver in the 200m freestyle, and bronze in the 4x200m freestyle relay at the 2012 London Summer Olympics.[Souce 2645]
