  Helen Cowan An old and highly respected resident of East Nissouri passed away at the home of James Snetsinger on Thursday last at the age of eighty-two years in the person of Miss Helen Cowan. The deceased had been in poor health for some time and her death was not unexpected. The late Miss Cowan was of a kind and loving disposition and leaves a host of friends who will long cherish her memory with respect and affection. At the funeral servie on Saturday Rev Galbraith spoke of the beautiful life deceased had lived. Mrs James Patterson Thamesford, a sister of deceased and only surviving member of the Cowan family. The remains were interred in the Rural Cemetery Ingersoll and were followed by a long concourse of friends and neighbours. Helan COWAN Female Scottish 45 Scotland C.
