  The 1900 Federal Census lists Burt Milks (25, general farmer) born in New York Oct 1874 of New York parents. He is living in the household of his older brother Leroy and his wife and their son as well as Burt’s father Giles. There is no indication of his first wife. The 1910 Federal Census lists Burt Milks (36, general farmer) born in New York of New York parents. With him are his wife Icelene T [!] (31) married for two years, born in Pennsylvania of an English father and a Scottish mother, no occupation. Nearby are several other Milk families. The 1920 Federal Census lists Bert Milks (46, general farmer) born in New York of New York parents. With him are his wife Isolene T (40), born in Pennsylvania of Scottish parents, no occupation. No mention of son Harry. Nearby are several other Milk families. The 1930 Federal Census lists several Milk families living near each other in Napoli, Cattaraugus Co., NY (Near Little Valley). Bert Milks (56, dairy farmer) owned a house worth $3000 with a radio set. He was first married at age 21. He was born in New York of New York parents, and was not a veteran. With him are his wife Isolen L [sic] (41) married first at age 17 [probably 18], born in Pennsylvania of Pennsylvanian parents, no occupation.
